Volunteering

We are firm believers that when sports are functioning at their absolute best, they are a powerful vehicle for creating positive change in the community. Thus, we are constantly striving to improve each of the communities to which we belong – supporters of One Knoxville SC, the city of Knoxville, the region of East Tennessee, and USL League One.

One Knoxville has been a model of community involvement and investment since its inception. As the club’s most vocal supporters, we believe it is our responsibility to be heard doing our fair share, no matter what form that ends up taking.

Knox Pride

We were thrilled to be able to support Knox Pride during the month of June. Through our first ever Prideraiser campaign, we raised $315. We also collected hundreds of dollars worth of food and clothing to assist in keeping Knox Pride's pantry supplied with their biggest needs. Participating in One Knoxville's first ever Pride Night on June 3 was a privilege, and we are looking forward to making Pride 2024 even more successful than this year.

Academy Nights

"There's only One Knoxville" is not just about our town and our first team. It's about supporting the club at all levels, and that means showing our commitment to all One Knox players – from Marky's starting 11 to the youngest academy sides. We welcomed the 2015 Boys Orange team to a tailgate in August with food, drink, games, and some special guests. We're planning to do the same for several teams over the course of the 2024 season and beyond.

Ijams Cleanup

We live in the most beautiful USL League 1 town, and we're proud of it. The club even stuck that natural beauty on our iconic crest. Because of that, we have an obligation to keep it looking its best. We picked up litter at Ijams Nature Center in August, and we encourage all Scruffy Citizens to do their part in keeping Knoxville spick and span.

#IrvinStrong

We were humbled and privileged to organize a night supporting Northern Colorado Hailstorm forward Irvin Parra for our match on May 13. Irv is battling testicular cancer, and we wanted to do our small part in helping to create awareness about his story. Hundreds of fans showed up wearing purple, we sang for him during Hailstorm warm-ups, and Daniel painted a beautiful tifo. After the match, a few of us presented the tifo to their grateful players and staff. They were kind enough to gift us one of his shirts in return.

Local High Schools

The Knoxville area has many of the most prolific high school soccer programs in the state, and we know that several of them have concession stands run by parents. We want to get them into the stands to support their kids. We had a blast running concessions at the Bearden Invitational in March and got to see three excellent matches – including a wild finish in Webb's 2-1 win, which saw Maryville get a late, late equalizer only for Webb to score the winner one minute later.

Upcoming Projects

  • Service Partnership with the Lady Vols – We are currently in conversation with the Lady Vols to partner on several community service projects. We hope to make some official announcements soon!

  • One Knoxville Collective Scholarships – We would love to help sponsor passionate future soccer stars on their paths toward being future First Teamers either for One Knox or another lucky club.
